About Me

Welcome to my website. You don’t feel like scrolling? Here is a short summary: I am a passionate frontend developer. Since 2016 I am working as such for New Oxatis, a SaaS-based e-commerce platform. Though I am working mainly with JavaScript, React and AngularJS, I am thrilled to learn and understand new programming languages, like Vue.js or TypeScript.
Obtaining a master’s degree in media management in 2011, my career has - since then - seen many diversions. Thanks to my thesis about net neutrality and my first job at iMinds-SMIT I discovered how interesting the web and coding can be. I decided to follow a one-year webmaster-training where I got a foothold in coding. Besides HTML, CSS JavaScript and PHP we learned how (and when) to use the Adobe tools Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign to design layouts and website mockups, icons and infographics. Another focus was on the CMS programs WordPress and Drupal and responsive design with the help of Bootstrap.
I started to love all of it.
My former career has certainly influenced me - especially my motivation and skills. In the fields of marketing and public relations (PR) I learned to work organized, structured and precisely. I am also proud of my international career, which allowed me to develop linguistic competence (english, french), an open and interested attitude and a network of inspiring people. Three words to describe myself: persistent, rigorous, respectful.

The company, present online and throughout France, specialises mainly in floriculture and arboriculture. They wanted to set up a calculation for the shipping days of their plants according to stock level and availability. Depending on the composition of the basket, a staggered shipping option is offered.

Development of a filter by color, a calculator of the selected items and optimization of a button for adding the items to the shopping cart.

For the graphical redesign of their site, I modified the entire structure of the product page and updated a feature for the presentation of articles in 360°.

Updating and supplementing the site ecobalade in Drupal

www.ecobalde.fr is the equivalent of the mobile application who shares the same name. The application is the the strongest brand of the Marseilles-based digital agency Natural-Solutions. Thanks to this application, users learn how to easily recognize wildlife while hiking. The website is based on a design template.
During the internship, my tasks included the programming of new species categories, the definition of search rules and the alignment of filters as well as the renewal of icons and pictos.

Activity ideas for children in Belgium

The imaginary website "www.beKids.be" was the result of the first project at Interface3. The goal was to create the structure, design, graphic elements and design in a group setting.
Objectives: organisation (consultation and planning, drafting of a milestone schedule), visualization (design of models and mock-ups, choice of colours and tonality, creation of icons and visual elements, choice of language and keywords) and finally development in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.

InOutPut is a non-profit association located in Brussels with european roots. It offers different services in the art sector, including theatre production, translations, photography and installations. As a groupe, we conceived a model in Photoshop, followed by the realization in WordPress.
